Once you set up your router as a repeater, its IP address is going to change. To discover the IP address of your router, you need to install the Device Discovery Utility first.
Step 1: Open your internet browser and then type http://router.asus.com in the URL section of the browser.
Step 2: When you will log into the web user interface for the first time, you will be taken to the Quick Internet Setup page.
Step 3: Select Choose Operation Mode.

Step 5: Start searching for the Wi-Fi signals.

Step 11: This is the end of the repeater mode setting. Once the mode changes, go to Device Discovery for connecting to the router and then check the status of the internet connection.
Step 1: Launch the Asus Device Discovery utility and then connect your PC to the router through an ethernet connection or Wi-Fi. Once you are done connecting your PC to the router, click on the search button to locate the IP address of your router and then select the IP address.
Step 2: Enter the username and password of your router on the login page and then press enter.
Step 3: After that, you can go to the web user interface for the configuration of the settings of your Asus wireless router.
