Do you want to know why won't my VoIP device work with my D-Link router? If yes, then you have come to the right place as here you will get to know all that you need to know about this. But before you move on with the solution, you need to know if you have downloaded the latest firmware of your router or not.
One thing that you need to do to fix your problem is to disable the SIP ALG feature on your router. The feature actually allows OIP to communicate across NAT. A few VoIP devices and apps can discover NAT devices and work with them.
However, ALG may affect the operation of such devices. In case you are experiencing problems while making VoIP calls, then you need to turn off ALG.
Step 1: First of all, launch your web browser and enter 192.168.0.1 or http://dlinkrouter.local in the location bar of your browser. After that, login.
Step 2: After that, select Feature and then click on Firewall.
Step 3: Then, click on Advanced Settings.
Step 4: Now, select for disabling SIP ALG and then select the option Save.
