Login to SMC Router And Access The Setup Page:

In order to access the setup page, you will be required to login to SMC router. The SMC router page is the control panel for your router that lets you modify or change all the settings required to. • Go to your web browser and enter your router’s IP address into the address field. Usually, the most common IP address for an SMC router is 192.168.2.1. so you can try this at first.
• In case, the above didn’t work, you will have to search for the IP address of your SMC router model. You will get it on the web accordingly.

3. Enter the username and password for your SMC router

• Now enter your username and password into the username and password field for your SMC router and then press Enter or Sign in.
• However, if you don’t remember your login credentials, you can always check out the default username and password for your specific model. (You can also find it in the label on the backside of your router).
• But if in case you changed it after setting up your router, then you have to reset it.
• You are now done and can configure anything you want to.

• In this method, you will have to turn your router on and then press and hold down the reset button for 30 seconds.
• Now, disconnect the router from the power outlet while you are still holding the reset button.
• Then again, hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
• Lastly, plug your router in again into the power outlet, while you are still holding the reset button and then hold for another 30 seconds.
