Steps to Follow for Setup Linksys WRT54G Wireless G Router:

Step 1 : In the first step to setup a Linksys WRT54G wireless G router, you need to connect the router to the power source. Give 10 seconds and then connect the ethernet wire to the jack. Then, connect it to the port at the back of the router.

When you are done, click on the button of save settings that is placed at the end of the filter list and then again click on continue when settings are successful dialog box shows up. You can close the window of Mac address filter list.

Step 9 : After that to setup a Linksys WRT54G wireless G router, click on the tab of administration on the top of the page. To get an access to the wireless router setup page, make changes in the default password. Enter a new password in the router password field. After that, you need to confirm it.

This password is different from WEP subscription setup password. The password should have minimum 6-8 characters.
