Step 2: Open your internet browser and then enter the IP address of your LinkStation, then you must make use of NAS Navigator to receive access to the settings. 

Step 3: After that, go to the tile of Advanced Settings and click on it. Then, you will be asked to log in. After that, you will be required to enter the username and password. Enter Admin in the username and password in the password section. 

Step 4: Now, go to the page of File Sharing and select the widget that is given on the right side of WebAccess. 

Step 5: Now, select the option of Edit. 

Keep in mind that the Buffalonas.com is a DNS service offered to you by Buffalo. In case you want to use another service of DNS, then you need to choose the option for disabling buffalonas.com registration. 

To find out the external ports that are present in your environment, get in touch with your Internet Service Provider. You will have to do port forwarding configuration on your router device to be able to use WebAccess.

However, this feature cannot be applied in the same manner on all the router brands, so there is a chance that it may not work. In case this does not work for you, then you will have to do the manual configuration of the ports. Click on ok after checking all the settings.  

Step 7: If you see a dialog box, which says WebAccess service is disabled, then select Ok. 

Step 8: Go back to Settings and choose the Slide switch for enabling WebAccess. 

Step 9: Ths will enable WebAccess. Log out of your settings and shut your internet browser.
