Here in this post, you will read out the basic instructions to know how to disable Wi-Fi on Comcast-supported devices. In case you find that your model is not on the list, then you need to get in touch with the manufacturer.
Before you start with the process, you need to know that the instructions may differ based on the model of your gateway. Please ensure that the computer you are using can allow you to access the internet-based setup page of your router. You can either connect it through Wi-Fi or through a wired network. Also, keep in mind that the login credentials for every device are different.
Step 1: First of all, open your internet browser and then type https://10.0.1 in the location bar of your browser. After that, you need to press Enter.
Step 2: Then, enter the login ID and password for your device.
Step 3: First of all, go to Gateway, then connection, and then Wi-Fi.
Step 4: After that, go to the section of the "Private Wi-Fi network". After that, you need to choose the Edt button. This is going to correspond to the Frequency Band that you desire to disable.
Step 5: In the end, select Disable.
Step 6: After that, select the button "Save Settings".
