Step 1: Launch an internet browser like Google Chrome on your computer system.
Step 2: Enter the IP address 192.168.2.1 in the location bar of your browser. Then, press enter. Now, the web-based setup page of your router will open up.
In case you have changed the IP address of your router, then use it to access your router's web-based setup page. In case you are not sure about the IP address of your router, then read out the instructions.
Step 3: Now, select the Login option given at the top-right corner. In case Belkin router setup is not given on top of your web-based setup page, then that means the Belkin Dashboard opened up before you.
To forward a port using the Belkin dashboard, you need to read out the instructions to forward a port on the dashboard.
Step 4: On the login page, you will be asked to enter the password of your router.
Step 5: Select Virtual Servers by going to the Firewall section.
Step 6: Select the Enable box and enter the information given below.
Xbox 1 Field: Go to the inbound port and enter "80" there. Change the protocol type to TCP. After that, enter the IP address of your Xbox console in your private IP address area. Also, you need to enter the private port information in the required fields.
Xbox 2 Field: Go to the inbound port and enter "88" there. Change the protocol type to UDP. After that, enter the IP address of your Xbox console in the private IP address area and then enter the private port information in the required fields.
Xbox 3 Field: Go to the inbound port and enter "3074" there. After that. you need to change the type of protocol to both as this port is UTP as well as TCP type. Enter the IP address of your Xbox console in the private IP address area and then enter the private port information in the required fields.
